Did you know?
Galileo spent 3 or 4 nights pointing his telescope at the sky, watching these black things float across Jupiter. Suddenly, he gets the idea that they must be MOONS! (Or mini planets, anyway). So, he’s got this brainwave, moons around Jupiter, and as soon as it gets dark he runs outside with his telescope to double check his ideas, only to find – it’s cloudy.
Bummer.
